The simple rule we use
- About half a litre per guest for a short function (up to 3 hours).
- About one litre per guest for a 3 to 6 hour event, such as a wedding with a meal.
- About one and a half litres per guest for a full day.
- Add around 30% in hot weather (March to June), and keep 10% extra for staff and surprises.
